Dynamic Write Acceleration through SLC cache

The Crucial MX500 achieves read speeds of up to 560 MB/s and write speeds of up to 510 MB/s for all file types (95,000 and 90,000 IOPS respectively for random access). To further enhance performance, the SSD is equipped with an SLC cache. This dynamic write acceleration enables faster storage operations and file transfers, ultimately benefiting your entire system.

Modern encryption methods

The Crucial MX500 is equipped with the latest hardware-based encryption. With support for AES-256, TCG Opal 2.0, and Microsoft eDrive, you can rest easy knowing your data is protected at all times.

3D NAND flash memory

In 3D NAND (also called V-NAND or 3D V-NAND), the transistors are oriented vertically to the chip area, and the flash memory rows are arranged in layers on top of each other. This achieves a higher storage density while simultaneously reducing the risk of interference between the cells. Thanks to the shorter connections between the cells, electrical performance increases, and consequently, power consumption decreases.
