Important information

The MacBook Pro A1502 (13-inch Retina, 2013–2015) uses two different battery models depending on the year of manufacture, and these are not compatible with each other. To find the correct battery, you need to determine the exact year of manufacture of your device (found under "About This Mac") or check the EMC number on the underside of your laptop before purchasing

This battery worked wonders.
I was experiencing occasional crashes while using the device.
Now I know why – it was the old battery.
Thanks to Appleladen support for the SMC reset.
