The LMP Display Dock 2 has all common video connections and supports up to two monitors with 4K@60 Hz. This makes it the most comprehensive USB-C video dock on the market: 2x HDMI (4K@60 Hz), Mini-DisplayPort ( 4K@60Hz), DisplayPort (4K@60Hz), DVI (1080p@60Hz) and VGA (1080p@60Hz).

Thanks to the dual USB-C connection to the host (Mac), you can use the Display Dock 2 to extend your video content to two external monitors* (dual 4K monitor support/extended mode) - each with maximum resolution and refresh rate.
So you can run up to three different images simultaneously and independently of each other. It is ideal for the professional user, the passionate film buff or the enthusiastic gamer. Take advantage of 4K video with a high-frequency refresh rate of 60 Hz. In addition to the 6 video ports, the LMP USB-C Display Dock 2 is connected to the outside world via Gigabit Ethernet and has two USB 3.0 ports for data transfer. One of them is optimized for charging a smartphone or tablet thanks to the implemented BC 1.2 standard.

The two USB-C ports fulfill different tasks - one as a charging port for the host (Power Delivery 3.0/100W) and one for data transmission at up to 5 Gbit/s. The audio output (3.5 mm jack) allows you to connect a speaker or headphones. Both USB-C connection cables must be connected to the host for full functionality.

Please note: For dual 4K monitor use, HDMI 1 + HDMI 2 or DisplayPort or Mini-DisplayPort or VGA or DVI must be used. A combination without HDMI 1 (e.g. DisplayPort and Mini-DisplayPort) does not work (no extended mode). A graphics card with DisplayPort 1.4/HBR 3 is required for 4K@60 Hz (all Macs from 2018), while older Macs show 4K@30 Hz.
