I was very disappointed when I found out that my new M2 MacBook Pro only supported a single external display and started looking for solutions. My research revealed that DisplayLink was necessary and this product was the cheapest I could find. I already had the DisplayLink software installed when I received it, so I hooked it up to my laptop and monitors and it worked right away. I've been using it for about a month now and haven't had any problems.

Does exactly what it should once you install the software. Reading the instructions helps. (Merci Appleladen Support) My M1 Macbook Pro is finally running with 2 displays. It's also great that you can also charge with an adapter.

It works perfectly with my MacMini M1. I have a total of three monitors and two of those monitors are connected to this adapter. It works perfectly without overheating.
