The display is only compatible with the following iMacs:
Apple iMac 21.5" A1418, Late 2012, iMac13,1;
Apple iMac 21.5" A1418, Early 2013, iMac13,1;
Apple iMac 21.5" A1418, Late 2013, iMac14,1 ​​and iMac14,3;
Apple iMac 21.5" A1418, Mid 2014, iMac14,4;
Apple iMac 21.5" A1418, Late 2015, iMac16,1*;
Apple iMac 21.5" A1418, 2017, iMac18,1*.

* Not compatible with the model featuring a 4K Retina display (Late 2015 iMac16.2 and Late 2017 iMac18.2).

The newer panel (from the 2014 iMac onwards) also fits the first-generation iMacs from 2012/13.
The cable routing for the backlight and power supply is slightly different.

The LVDS cable and temperature sensor are not included and must be transferred from your original display.

To remove the display, we recommend the OWC iMac Display Removal Tool

Caution: Even slight carelessness can lead to damaged connectors; incorrect connection of the display can irreparably damage the mainboard. We accept no liability for any damage resulting from improper handling.
